"duke of hazzard" Blockhead, bluntflips

finally got a good bluntflip filmed! tossed in a little slowmo at the end
pat got his first blunt fakie, then cab out of one today!
filmed that for the blunt learners clip am planning, FIVE people have gotten it here. :)
after that he was stoked for a bit so grabbed the camera and here are my clips. got multiple other bluntflips, my first flip into blunt but wasn't filmed but is way easier than flipping out.
mike was shredding always learning new stuff that i'm stocking clips of.
i also added old masonite on the decks squaring it up better with the coping making it easier to get out of tricks so greg stepped up his blunt from the micro to 3' and i got mine switch.
it's a strange satisfaction battling fear of pain and failure with creativity, effort and persevering until accomplishing something you've never done.

has been three weeks without recreating the bluntflip magic! painstakingly figured out the mechanics and was feelin it coming together so went in and grabbed the camera, turned it on and got the 1st clip.
lotsa just blunt testers with nollie and fakie bump lockins, switch too.
blunt day! prover not pukera boring vid but was proud of efforts paying off hah

blunt flip fakie 1st ever WOOP

new move
put a lot of effort into this.
have blunts and flipkickers pretty good so started dabbling with the flip out. went crazy tryin to get this one for an hour and a half or so straight until threw up... and took a break..
until greg, mike and pat mobbed out.

i spent a LOT of time during construction thinking, trying to figure the perfect offset for the micro insert so that people could learn blunt fakies on there like i did and still have it fit in for everything else it can be used for. once built it'd be an ordeal to try to change more than build higher on what's already there.
it's been sweet seeing it work out! once they'd tried and figured them out, then by really digging in and WANTING it enough for a big commitment effort of going for it a lot while being willing to fall for glory more people keep gettin em.
greg was the first to learn them here, then nate did and now john has too just yesterday! all of them blast their pop out and have landed multiple perfectly clean. (bluntlearner montage in the works, more people still pushin it to get theirs)

after only about a week of blunt fakies greg was already testing flip outs, the day i'd barfflip failed!
we'd been shredding a while so got into battle royal over 1st to get blunt frontside. that he learned on the spot taking me out, even though i'd done them on the micro before. so moved on to flip fakies.
we started getting really close taking our falls committing and putting it down so mike grabbed the camera and i got this battle royal as soon as he had it focused.
and the days war with blunt flip fakies with a couple more to back it up.
